Long Road to Get Here

Today marks the beginning of operations for Seguin Brewing Co. as we have officially sold our first cases of beer to Huisache Grill in New Braunfels.  They will have our Oktoberfest ready to serve tonight.  Thank you to Huisache Management for being our first sale.

We have spent just over two years laying the foundation for this endeavor.  It began with meetings with the SBA to help focus the plan.  After narrowing our idea we focused on the actual writing of the business plan.  Once completed we began a long challenging fund raising campaign to bring this company from an idea to a tangible entity.

We have no doubt struggled through some difficult challenges and more challenges lay ahead, but we are so grateful for the support we have received from the City of Seguin officials, the community, and of course our friends, families, and investors.

Cheers.

SBC Store is Active

We have launched our Seguin Brewing Company store selling t-shirts and koozies with our original logo featuring the "small town big nuts" slogan.

We are continuing to work towards adding more content to our site and getting our beer out to retailers.  We are estimating print of our labels tomorrow which will allow us to get a small amount of beer out soon.

We want to thank everyone for the support we have received launching this business, and we look forward to sharing delicious beers with Seguin and the surrounding communities shortly.  As always, remember to support your local breweries by drinking local and drinking craft.

Getting Closer....

We have sent our labels in for approval and just recently sent in our corrections to TABC.  We expect to receive approval any day now.  Once this happens we will be able to legally produce and sell our beer!

We are going to introduce our Honey Pecan and Oktoberfest first.  Look for the 9-Pin Kolsch early next year.  We will continue to roll out the remainders of our first 5 beers as we begin to ramp things up.

This has been a wild venture full of frustrations and jubilations, but we are finally on the brink of bringing our beer to the market place.  As always, please be responsible while drinking your favorite local craft beer.

Drink local. Drink craft.
